I found this adorable children's book called "The GayBCs". I remember when I was a kid and my parents told me what lesbian and gay were, I wanted to make my characters lesbian and gay when I played with stuffed animals, dolls, and make believe games. Other kids didn't always know what that was, and sometimes they didn't like it. I think the world can be a better place if we start teaching children respect and equality early, and continue to provide plenty of positive media and cultural influence during their adolescence. Books like this one go a long way.
